Established in 1984, we are the Pacific Northwest's oldest gallery specializing in fine art photography, featuring many renowned artists such as Christopher Burkett, Phil Borges, William Neill,and many others.We also carry a selection of posters by these artists. You may search either by artist or key title word.
The unique vision of the Photographic Image is based on the inventory. From mini-prints through posters, digital and modern to vintage originals,you'll find the right combination for either decorating or collecting.

SHIPPING POLICY AND AVAILABILITY:
We offer free shipping on all unframed original photographs. This applies to all matted but unframed photographs shipped iva UPS ground in the continental United States. We ship books and posters by the least expensive insured rate, and if your order for either posters or books totals $100 or more, shipping is free. We will e-mail you with the final cost, including shipping before we process the order.

We do not keep all the photographs or posters on our website in stock, some may be drop-shipped to you from another location. Keep in mind if you need it shipped immediately. We will contact you with the final price and availability soon after we receive your order. We can only accept expedited (overnight) orders by telephone through our toll-free number 1-800-525-5574.

FRAMING
If you would like us to ship a framed photograph we will quote the total cost of framing and shipping so you can make your decision. You will need to request a framing quote separately through the "Send Us e-Mail" icon on the home page. We will quote the price based on the appropriate metal or wood moulding per your request. Please note that metal frames take two weeks and wood frames take three weeks before shipping.

RETURNS
All unframed photographs are shipped with at two-week return option. Advise us by e-mail or telephone what you will be returning and when. When we receive it in an acceptable condition, you will receive a credit for the purchase price. Please note that you are responsible for the return shipping cost..

Gallery Director, Guy Swanson, will be teaching a class on Collecting Photography at Portland Community College in the spring. If you are new to collecting or want to find out the best way to get started, this class is for you.
